Uganda's district population projections, 2015-2020

Uganda has one of the highest population growth rates in the world and is among the top 10 countries with the largest youth populations in the world. Significant analysis has been conducted by a range of international and national organisations to understand how the country can reap from its demographic dividend and how to adequately plan for national resources to support its fast-growining population.

To analyse Uganda's population challenge further, we have published datasets, derived from reports published by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, that indicate Uganda's district population projections at sub-national level.

The projections that cover the 2015-2020 period are listed by district and offer unique insights into Uganda's future.
