FinScope surveys are carried out in at least 18 African countries, including Uganda, to determine the levels of access to and use of financial products and services by the adult population. This dataset holds responses from 3400 respondents, a nationally representative sample, in the 2013 FinScope survey in Uganda. The data covers household welfare indicators, sources of income, remittances, use of services like mobile money, formal banks, and so on. This data was collected June-July 2013 by REEV Consult International, with technical support from the Economic Policy Research Institute, and funding from Financial Sector Deepening Uganda
