Class of vehicles involved in road crashes in Uganda, 2011 - 2020

Description: The data shows the different classes of vehicles that have been involved in road traffic crashes in Uganda since 2011. The classes of vehicles include motor cars, dual-purpose vehicles, light omnibus, medium omnibus, motor cycles, pedal cycles, etc.

The data indicates that the leading class of vehicles involved in crashes in the last 10 years (2011 – 2020) is motor cars followed by motor cycles. The two classes contributed to over 60% of all vehicles involved in road crashes. Light omnibus was the third leading class of vehicles involved in crashes.
