Uganda demographic health survey data, 2000-2016

The Uganda Demographic Health Survey was undertaken by the Ministry of Health to address the needs of health sector programmes. It was designed to provide policy makers in the Ministry of Health and other organizations with information for monitoring and planning future interventions effectively, especially in its health sector reform activities. 

This dataset is drawn from the Uganda Demographic Health Survey reports for the years 2000-01, 2006, 2011 and 2016. The surveys were implemented by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
